Fetal Abduction, also called Caesarean kidnapping, refers to the removal of a fetus (generally at the 3rd trimester of development) from the womb of the mother against her wishes. Fetal abductions are perpetrated by women, most of whom use some form of con or deception, often involving the offer of baby supplies/clothes. Most perpetrators had their own biological children, most have faked being pregnant, often to influence a male partner.
